Thanks to the generosity of our Eternal Impact Campaign donors, Highlands College is able to provide scholarship opportunities to both incoming and returning Traditional students.
INCOMING STUDENT ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible to receive a scholarship award, you will need to complete your HC admission application with all application requirements received by the October 1 Priority Application Date.

Minimum Requirements
SCHOLASTIC SCHOLARSHIP
$1,000 per semester for Traditional Students
High School Seniors
• 3.5 high school GPA
Transfer Students
• 3.5 GPA earned for 24 or more earned college credit hours
Current Highlands College Students
• Completed 1 full semester at Highlands College
• 3.7 or higher cumulative GPA
• Good standing
• 3.7 or higher cumulative GPA
• Good standing
Minimum Requirements
SERVICE SCHOLARSHIP
$1,000 per semester for Traditional Students
High School Seniors
• 12 months of active service in a local church
• Student essay demonstrating ministry calling and vision
• Student essay demonstrating ministry calling and vision
• 3.0 high school GPA
Transfer Students
• 3.0 GPA earned for 24 or more earned college credit hours
• 12 months of active service in a local church
• Student essay demonstrating ministry calling and vision
• 12 months of active service in a local church

ROBERT HODGES SCHOLARSHIP
$3,300 per semester for Traditional Students
• Awarded to an incoming student
• Member of Church of the Highlands
• Renewable -- must maintain a minimum of 3.0 GPA
• Member of Church of the Highlands
• Renewable -- must maintain a minimum of 3.0 GPA

BILLY HORNSBY SCHOLARSHIP
$3,300 per semester for Traditional Students
• Awarded to an incoming student
• Child of a pastor of an ARC-member church
• Renewable -- must maintain a minimum of 3.0 GPA
• Child of a pastor of an ARC-member church
• Renewable -- must maintain a minimum of 3.0 GPA
Minimum Requirements
PILLAR SCHOLARSHIP
$500 per semester for Traditional Students
Must be a current HC student to be eligible.
• Awarded to four current students
• Awarded to students who have demonstrated excellence in one of Highlands College’s four pillars: Ministry Training, Academic Excellence, Character Formation, Spiritual Development
• Current student must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA
• Awarded to students who have demonstrated excellence in one of Highlands College’s four pillars: Ministry Training, Academic Excellence, Character Formation, Spiritual Development
• Current student must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA
Minimum Requirements
PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIP
$5,000 per semester for Traditional Students
Must be a current HC student to be eligible.

• Current student must maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA
• Current student must maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA
FINANCIAL NEED SCHOLARSHIP
Financial Need Scholarships are supplemental scholarships awarded to fill an unmet financial need of ideal incoming Highlands College students and to assist incoming students undergoing financial hardship. Scholarships are awarded at varying levels according to need, household income, academic credentials, and other factors.
Financial Need Scholarships require a separate application from the standard scholarship application. If you would like to receive consideration for a Financial Need Scholarship, please notify your Admissions Coach.
