As a parent of a graduate, I can say that Highlands College Team met our expectations for ministry school. Our daughter received ongoing support, spiritual guidance, and exposure to ministry and solid teaching.
Can students get a degree at Highlands College?

During Highlands College, our students are given the opportunity to pursue an Associate’s Degree in Christian Ministry through Southeastern University (SEU). SEU is an accredited university out of Lakeland, Florida. Our academic partnership with SEU allows students to take degree classes on-site while attending Highlands College. Students participating in this option will earn an Associate of Arts in Christian Ministry through SEU, as well as an Advanced Certificate of Ministry and Leadership (ACML) through Highlands College. Students bringing in transfer credits may also participate in the Bachelor’s completion option to earn a Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministry.

*Degree students typically take 15 credit hours per semester at a tuition rate of $6,075 per semester.

*Students pursuing the degree option do not pay both Certificate Program and Degree Option tuition. Only one tuition is paid, of which the amount is dependent upon the program chosen.

Is Highlands College accredited?

Highlands College is currently an applicant for accreditation through the Association of Biblical Higher Education. Can students continue their education with another school after completing Highlands College? 

Highlands College graduates may submit their academic transcript(s) to any institution they desire in order to determine eligible transfer credits that may be applied in continuing their education at that institution.  Please note, the awarding of transfer credit from one institution to another is completely dependent upon the school or program into which you are attempting to transfer credit. Each institution may or may not accept transfer credit based upon the awarding institution, class equivalencies, or program requirements.

What are Practicums?

Practicums provide students with hands-on training that allows them to become specialized in a specific area of ministry. Students have 8 areas of study to choose from: Creative, Family Ministry, Conference and Events, Students, Pastoral Leadership, Worship Leadership, Technical Arts, and Outreach.
